3 Hari Untuk Selamanya (2007) Tracklist: 01 3 Hari Untuk Selamanya. 03 Stupido Ritmo. 05 The Prophercy. 06 No Dream Land. 08 Too Much This Way. Dua sepupu menghabiskan malam yang liar sebelum meninggalkan kota pada pagi harinya untuk menghadiri pernikahan keluarga mereka. Mereka tidak sadar bahwa tiga hari perjalanan itu akan berpengaruh pada kehidupan mereka selanjutnya.
Pada bulan November 2005, produser film Mira Lesmana berada di antara penonton di konser mini mereka di Tornado Coffee Kemang Jakarta. Pada saat sesi rehat ia mendatangi mereka untuk menyampaikan kesukaannya pada musik Float. Ia pun menawarkan sebuah proyek kolaborasi dimana Float, dengan musik dalam album barunya nanti, akan mengisi soundtrack untuk film terbarunya yang berjudul '3 Hari Untuk Selamanya' yang disutradarai Riri Riza. Album baru itu akan dirilis oleh label perusahaan rekamannya yang baru, yaitu Miles Music. Tawaran itu pun langsung disambut antusias oleh Meng, Bontel, dan Remon.
Sayangnya, bersamaan dengan kealpaan seorang manajer resmi yang berperan penting dalam menangani pengembangan visi, soliditas, citra, dan potensi bisnis yang diperlukan untuk kelangsungan eksistensi Float, berbagai masalah yang melibatkan ketiganya makin banyak bermunculan dan tidak terhindarkan. Apalagi setelah Bontel dan Remon direkrut untuk bekerja di sebuah rumah produksi yang membuat ketiganya semakin jarang bertemu. Akhirnya, pada tanggal 5 Februari 2006, Meng memutuskan untuk menjalankan proyeknya sebagai musisi solo.
Tapi, perpisahan itu tidak berlangsung lama. Pada pertemuan Meng dan Abang Edwin SA yang juga merupakan teman istrinya, Meng menceritakan kondisi Float terakhir. Abang mengusulkan agar mereka bersama-sama menemui Mira Lesmana untuk menceritakan perkembangan ini, sehubungan dengan tawaran kolaborasi yang sudah terlanjur disanggupi oleh Float. Akhirnya Meng setuju untuk bergabung kembali dengan Bontel dan Remon dalam Float yang baru sebagai sebuah proyek, bukan sebagai band. Abang pun berperan sebagai manajer proyek itu. Pada bulan April 2006, mereka mulai mengerjakan album baru mereka yang kemudian diberi judul 'Music For 3 Hari Untuk Selamanya' (Miles Music, 2007). Pada tanggal 21 Desember 2006, proses mastering album itu selesai. Tidak lama kemudian, Jakobus Mulia bergabung dengan Float untuk membantu menjalankan peran manajerial.
Dengan album soundtrack ini, Float memperoleh penghargaan bergengsi seperti Abhinaya Trophy untuk Soundtrack Terbaik di ajang Jakarta Film Festival dan Best Theme Song di ajang penganugerahan MTV Indonesian Movie Awards, dimana keduanya didapat di tahun yang sama. Selain itu, sebuah pencapaian lain juga diraih Float. Lagu mereka yang berjudul 'Surrender' digunakan sebagai lagu tema dalam promosi media sebuah film seri produksi Satellite Television for the Asian Region (STAR), sebuah televisi satelit berbayar yang berbasis di Hong Kong. Film seri itu berjudul 'Heroes' (Season 2).
